The Software Pre-Sales Associate Manager is a hands-on, client facing and results oriented role supporting the Sales teams focused on jointly winning high-value enterprise-level solutions sales. This individual utilizes in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry to explain, demonstrate and promote the business benefits of our solutions throughout the sales cycle. Software Pre-Sales Consultants represent expertise with the software solution and assist in moving opportunities from qualification to Vendor of Choice.

Primary responsibilities include:

Develop trusted and influential relationships with the decision-making and decision-influencing customer contacts through a combination of broad real-world industry experience.
Be perceived by the customer as being both customer centric and solutions oriented; bring tangible value in terms of industry/functional experience, knowledge, and expertise.
Support the sales team as the key product subject matter expert to determine how the product can be integrated into the client's overall technology solution
Provide sales support by leading or assisting with new or existing customer presentations
Provide demonstrations of solutions - Showcase the value Clients will derive from the use of Accenture's solutions
Collaborate with technical team to deliver a set of complex and/or integrated demonstrations or more complex proof-of-concept projects
Assist RFI/RFP responses.

Duck Creek Technologies is a joint venture between Apax Partners and Accenture, which we anticipate will be effective as of August 1, 2016. Though Accenture provides Duck Creek Technologies with administrative support, any potential employment resulting from this application is with Duck Creek Technologies and not Accenture.

Must live within a 90 minute commute of Bolivar MO or Columbia NC, or be willing to relocate at own expense.
Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of four years of software industry experience
Minimum of three years of experience with P&C Insurance Technology similar to Duck Creek
OR a Minimum of three years of underwriting experience
Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance and/or related field or equivalent work experience

Preferred Skills:

Persuasive communication skills capabilities
Client delivery experience
Ability to lead / manage medium work effort and/or team
Strong Business Analyst background.
Proficient in requirements analysis/development & basic system testing
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Presales or other demonstration experience
