Description:A unique opportunity to work with North American companies to sell them into our international portfolio of trade shows with the goal of helping them grow their business through exports. This dynamic role involves work across multiple cultures, industry sectors and government agencies.On a regular basis the ideal candidate will:Create a strong pipeline of clients looking to expand globally via cold calls, competitive & networking eventsManage a portfolio of 5-10 events across multiple industries and regularly report progress to managementTravel to events within the US and globally to develop relationships and sales opportunities with prospects and clients alike (approx.. 40% travel)Build, manage and maintain relationships with overseas colleagues/internal clientsDevelop relationships with industry associations and relevant government agencies Qualifications:Two or more year's prior sales experience requiredCollege degree preferred; equivalent business training or experience sufficesKnowledge of sales, particularly telephone sales techniques - cold callsEffective oral and written communication skills The salary range for this position will be between $55 - 60k plus 4% commission (will be explained during an interview) During the 3 - 6 month temp portion you will be paid on a flat hourly rate with 4% commission.
