Citi's Internal Audit division provides independent assessments ofthe company's governance, risk management and internal control environment forkey stakeholders including the Board of Directors, senior management and Citi'snumerous regulators globally. Internal Audit is a change agent within Citiaimed to enhance the control culture of Citigroup worldwide and thereby supportsenior management decision making around the globe. This roleparticipates in the timely delivery of high quality, value added assurance andaudit reports for a portfolio of business activities, which meet therequirements of the Boards of Citigroup and Citibank, their affiliates and ofCiti's respective regulators, globally. Thisindividual will assist in the execution of IA's comprehensive audit program ofcoverage relating to Citi's Interest Risk Exposure monitoring and reportingprocesses in coordination with the established IA teams responsible forcoverage of Franchise Risk & Strategy, Technology and Risk to ensure Citihas a robust, sustainable and forward-looking Interest Risk Exposure monitoringand reporting processes. This individual will execute a robust Capital Planning andResolution Planning Audit Plans, for specific components of coverage, inaccordance with Internal Audit standards, relevant government statutes andregulations and Citigroup and Citibank policies. Further this individual willbe expected to deliver on time high quality audit reports, Internal Audit andRegulatory issue validation and business monitoring and governance committeereporting. KeyResponsibilities: * Asa seasoned professional applies solid understanding of internal auditstandards, policies, and local regulations to provide timely audit assurance. * Contributesto the development of audit processes improvements. * Appliessolid understanding of how internal audit collectively integrates with linemanagement and control functions to accomplish the objectives of the functionand overall business. * Performsmoderately complex audits related to Consumer or Investment Banking, technologymanagement; project/program management; or supplier management in accordance with corporate methodologies and professionalstandards, including drafting of audit reports, presenting issues to the businessand discussing practical solutions. * Completes assigned audits within budgeted timeframes, and budgetedcosts. * Provides coaching to team members in all phases of the auditprocess. * Monitors the risk environment and assesses the emerging risksthrough the Business Monitoring process. * Recommends appropriate and pragmatic solutions to risk and controlissues. * Applies knowledge of key regulations to influence audit scope. * Develops effective line management relationships to ensure strongunderstanding of the business. * Pro-actively develops automated routines to help focus audittesting. Qualifications * BS/BA degree or equivalent combinationof education/experience. * Intermediate level experience in arelated role with experience in business, functional and people management,with proven abilities in taking responsibility for issuing to stakeholders highquality deliverables according to strict timetables. * Specific subject matter expertiseregarding technology application control disciplines and a solid business understanding ofinterest rate risk management and reporting. Alternatively, a strong understanding of the processes and controlsaround regulatory or financial reporting. * Effective negotiation skills, aproactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues and strength insustaining independent views. This individual must be an articulate andeffective communicator, both orally and in writing, with an energetic,charismatic and approachable style. * Strong interpersonal skills forinterfacing with all levels of internal and external audit and management.
