As a Retail Operations Coordinator, you provide operational and administrative support to the director of sales operations, director of stores and support the customer experience in each of out retail store locations. You assist with the execution of programs supporting daily store operations, coordination, fulfillment and distribution of store needs, calendar management and any operational projects and initiatives primarily focused on the day to day operation of our retail business though participation outside of these operations may sometimes be necessary. Key Job Responsibilities: Is responsible to meet or exceed all goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)Compiles store orders and determines supply items to be gathered, distributed, packaged and shipped to the appropriate storeManages store supplies, printed materials inventory and collateral distribution process for the stores, determining and placing replenishment orders accurately and timelyManages external store supplier accounts and approval status of orders placed under external accountsTravel and expense management for the Retail Operations and sales leadership teamAssists team with calendar, meeting, and event managementPrepares and manages documents, communications and presentationsWorks with cross-functional business partners to assist in the development and implementation of retail operations project initiatives and support toolsManages and creates specific retail metric reporting, identifying issues and making recommendations to ensure profitability, cost savings and alignment with company goalsSupports sales driving functions and programs in partnership with leadershipPrepares sales and operational reporting documents for DOS including visit preparation materialsManages store facilities needs, ensuring all issues are resolved correctly and timely and within budgetBuilds positive working relationships with store teams, zone leader team and HQ partners and serve as a primary point of contact between field teams and Lovesac HQ, aiding their success and development in line with retail and company initiativesAssists the team and management with projects and tasks as neededMaintains a calm demeanor and manages issues professionally and respectfully in accordance with our company standardsActs with integrity and trust, modeling behavior that respects our employees, peers and customers in accordance with the core values of our company Requirements & Qualifications: An external candidate should have a bachelor's degree or related retail management experience of at least 4 years; luxury retail or furniture experience is preferred. An internal candidate should have a bachelor's degree or 2 years of experience as a store leader. Experience with budgeting is preferred as well as being fluent in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). A Retail Operations Coordinator is results driven and uses his or her knowledge to meet or exceed KPIs and goals. You have proven time management skills and quickly adapts to a changing business environment; able to prioritize responsibilities with the appropriate level of urgency. A Coordinator listens and can use this information to solve problems, anticipate issues and make correct decisions based on a variety of situations. You are accountable and take responsibility for your actions. A Coordinator has the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines consistently. You have strong analytical and problem solving skills. A Coordinator has excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and appropriate communication skills. You are customer-centric, creating solutions and experiences that drive business results and engagement with the brand. A Coordinator works collaboratively with fellow employees, treating all with dignity and respect at all times. You comply at all times with the standards, policies and procedures in the Lovesac Employee Handbook. A Coordinator must be capable of using and operating all equipment as required, including but not limited to: iPad, laptop, etc. Be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position or be able to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor or in our warehouse. You are required to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, to out of town meetings and conferences using various forms of transportation. Our stores including our website are open seven days a week and require morning, evening, weekend and holiday availability. You work in our Headquarters located in Stamford, CT.
