CCAR Capital Plan Manager
What is the opportunity?
As the CCAR Capital Plan Manager, you will participate in preparation of the Capital Plan and overall CCAR submission. Additionally, you will partner with the appropriate subject matter experts on all core elements of the CCAR exercise including but not limited to overall narrative, PPNR and BS forecasting, Stress Losses, Capital Adequacy Assessment Process, Risk ID, IHC Scenario Design, etc.
What will you do?
Develop and implement CCAR program-wide frameworks (sensitivity analysis, assumptions management, limitations, controls) and documentation standards
Interface with Finance, Risk, Treasury, Regulatory/Financial Reporting, Audit, and other CCAR contributors to understand end-to-end processes and provide credible review and challenge
Prepare summary materials for the Board of Directors and senior management committees related to the capital plan results, processes, and governance
Create tailored analyses for senior management (partnering with risk, finance and treasury) on capital planning including calibration of actions, stress test summaries, and peer bank comparisons
Review supervisory guidance and industry news to identify CCAR best practices and trends
What do you need to succeed?
8+ years experience either in risk management, capital management, finance, or project management at a financial institution, working for a regulatory agency, or as an auditor or consultant for banking clients
Detail oriented and able to facilitate development of firm-wide framework for capital planning
Strong writing ability, including capability to own documentation standards
Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset to produce quality analyses and recommendations
Strong consultative skills desired/preferred, inclusive of presentation, facilitation, structured thinking and project management experience
Nice to have
CCAR experience and/or well-rounded knowledge of regulatory exercises within financial institutions preferred but not required
