Assistant Manager Job Description:As an Assistant Manager, you will work under the direction of the General Manager in achieving sales initiatives and customer service.You will be responsible for operating both the FOH and BOH according to system-wide standards and procedures.You will act at first point of contact in assisting hourly employee's questions and concerns and refer complex issues to General Manager You will assist with, and coordinate, catering eventsYou will monitor sales, costs, events, parties and report concerns to General ManagerYou will be responsible for the scheduling of employees while adhering to a labor budgetYou will be responsible for handling customer complaints and feedback while they occur. You will need to be comfortable providing feedback to and coaching hourly employees. Qualified Assistant Managers will Possess the following Experience/ CharacteristicsAt least 1.5 years of management experience in a high volume fast casual or full-service concept.A stable work history with a clear career progression. Basic computer skills and experience working with the Microsoft Office suite. Experience working with POS system. Basic knowledge of budgeting, P&L, scheduling, and performance management. An upbeat, positive attitude and a desire to provide exemplary customer service. A desire to work with and serve high-quality cafe fare utilizing fresh, eco-friendly ingredients.
